The official website for the Tenkuno Castle Echizen Ono Castle, operated by Ono City in Fukui Prefecture, provides information about this flat mountain castle located on Mount Kameyama at an elevation of 249 meters in the northwestern part of Ono City. Constructed over four years around the 4th year of Tensho by Kanamori Nagachika, who was granted two-thirds of Ono County by Oda Nobunaga, the castle features stone walls built using the traditional method of stacking natural stones.
